It’s my favorite time of the year, and even though we’re ordered to social distance, I’m trying to hold to some normalcy and follow through with few traditions, like setting the dinner table. This year’s table is simple, flowers and candles. That’s it—fresh flowers from the grocery store and leftover black taper candles from Halloween.
This year despite the world’s current situations, I look forward to creating new memories with my family just like last year, the year before, and the year before.
